next steps is an introduction to anyone interested in becoming a part of Renew Church NZ family. The three week course is made up of half hour sessions spread over 3 weeks after our 9am church service on Sunday.
It’s designed to help you engage with God, play your part in His Church and connect with others. It will also help you understand Renew Church’s unique DNA and give you the information you need to decide whether we are the faith community God is calling you to belong to and get involved in.

Where can I find Renew Church?
Our church street address is 2 Tarewa Road, Morningside, Whangarei, New Zealand. Find google maps directions here.
If you’re visiting from out of town to the south simply turn off State Highway 1 at signs for ‘Whangarei Town Center’ (just past tourist information center). We are 1km down the road on your left.
When does your Sunday service start/end?
We have two morning services, 9am and 11am with full crèche and Kids Church programmes during both. Check in for these open 15 minutes before each service. Each service runs for approximately 1 hour 15 minutes.
After each service you are welcome to join us for a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate.
How can I attend a mid week meeting?
Our meetings are open to the public and anyone can attend. If you would like to let us know you are coming you can do so on our ministries page by sending an email. This way you can connect with our team before arrival. Please allow us a few days notice if you want to connect before a gathering.
How can I join Renew Church?
While we don’t have an official membership programme, you can join our church family very easily. We encourage anyone wanting to join Renew Church to first come along to Next Steps. What denomination is Renew Church?
Renew Church is a modern pentecostal church. We are not a part of any particular church movement but we are locally run and operated. We do however associate with many other pentecostal churches nationwide.
