Hi everyone!
Thank you so much for saying “yes” to helping us pack the Christmas Boxes for our community!
This year we are joining with other churches and organisations in Whangārei and will all together be packing and delivering 1,575 Christmas Boxes. This is understood to directly impact up to 7,000 people in our community this Christmas.
Here are all the important details below that you need to know:
When: This Saturday 2nd December at 9:00am (til around 2pm)
Where: 16 Winger Crescent, Kamo, Whangarei (rear half of warehouse)
Duration – we are expecting it could take us through to around 2pm to pack the boxes.
Important things to note:
Please wear covered shoes
Please Bring a water bottle
If you have allergies, please note that there are Christmas trees being sold in the attached building, so bring antihistamines.
Due to being in a warehouse we don’t have the facilities to create a safe area for children who are too young to help with packing. Unfortunately they should not come to the packing day.
Feel free to wear t-shirts/uniforms that represent your group (Renew shirts, Fight Club shirts – but no stress if you don’t have one of these).
Morning tea / lunch
The organisers are asking that people please bring or contribute baking for morning tea.
Lunch will be a sausage sizzle which is being provided.
We are looking forward to a great Saturday! Thank you again for being keen to be involved.
Please contact Julian if you have any questions or queries on 027 615 4461.
Blessings!
